Antique Primitive 19th C Stoneware Tavern Mug Stein with Pewter Lid.   A rare find and very unique.  Antique stoneware tavern style tankard mug with a metal pewter hinged lid.  Wonderful shape for age.   Size is 5 1/2" tall x 6 1/2" wide at top.  5" with handle.  Bottom 3 1/2" diameter at base.  Old and original antique.
